Project 04: Rotoscope Memory - DUE on Saturday September 22nd, 11:59pm
Rotoscoping is old school. So let's make something about memory. What's your earliest memory? Or, how about this, what memory do you wish you had? Make heavy-use of rotoscoping (this might include use of the rotobrush, frame-by-frame masking) as a technical tool to achieve an aesthetic result as you composite together a video based on a memory. .

Final Output
Your final movie should be at least 30 seconds but no longer than 60 seconds - the first second should be black, and the last second should be black. You should have audio in your piece. Give it as much consideration as the visual component of your piece. Upload it to your Youtube or Vimeo site and send Deke the link.

Pithy Quote
“Every day we slaughter our finest impulses. That is why we get a heart-ache when we read those lines written by the hands of a master and recognize them as our own, as the tender shoots which we stifled because we lacked the faith to believe in our own powers, our own criterion of truth and beauty. Every man when he gets quiet, when he becomes desperately honest with himself, is capable of uttering profound truths. We all derive from the same source. There is no mystery about the origins of things. We are all part of creation, all Kings, all Poets, all musicians, we have only to open up, only to discover what is already there.”

Henry Miller
